I have always walked to beat of my own drum which was fostered by my beloved grandfather who taught me that I could do anything if I put my mind to. He encouraged me to always think outside the box. He made us practice mental exercises such as trying to bend spoons with our minds, learning hypnosis and trying to read each other’s minds. He died in the late 80’s while I was in my first semester of nursing school. His death struck me deeply because it seemed like he was the only person that truly understood and nurtured me.
As a young girl I saw the unseen and had total recall of my dreams. My grandfather let me know that he was going to die three months prior to him becoming ill in a dream. In the dream he was putting his belongings away. When I asked him what he was doing he simply told me that he was getting ready for when my uncle Mel comes. My uncle died three months prior to this dream.
All my dreams were vivid and spoke to me about my life present and future. As noted above they also spoke to me about the lives of the people around me. I knew at a young age that I was a little different from everyone else which sometimes made me feel very alone. Surprisingly enough I was never afraid because it was perfectly normal for me to see apparitions and to dream of people dying since the age of three. My grandfather often spoke of having the same experiences as a child. Always being attuned to the heaviness of death as a child caused me a lot of sleepless nights. I always knew when someone was near death. As a registered nurse working in the critical care units my hand was always the hand that a person reached for when they took their last breath. When the “heaviness” of death started to way me down I took a meditation class at the local community college. Meditation helped me to see the lighter happier side of life. Meditation increase my intuitive abilities. I became attuned to a person’s emotional needs.
I went into healthcare in my teenage years and have spent the last 38 years of my life dedicated to helping other people heal. Twenty-eight of those years I have practiced as a registered nurse, which has brought me great joy. Although traditional medicine has its place, is not what I truly believe heals the whole person. Even in nursing school I learned that illness is psychosomatic which means that a physical disorder can be caused or notably influenced by emotional factors. Battling my own physical manifestations of repressed emotions and fear led me to learn Reiki. I am a Reiki Master and teacher.
Stress, our emotions and the denial of one’s true self all cause our energetic bodies to become misaligned, which in turn manifests in physical dis-eased states.
I can help you gain insight into the mental and emotional aspects of your life that are triggering illness. Through meditation and Reiki, I have developed into a gifted chakra reader. Our bodies speak to us and wants to heal. With angelic assistance I will help you identify and heal the source of your energetic blockages. Through my quest to heal I’ve learned and mastered different forms of divination. I am also gifted if the arts of tarot, runes and chakras readings. I also possess an expansive knowledge of healing herbs and essential oils which I also incorporate into the care of my clients.
